What's New

updated 8/3/22: System Conversion Planned for Sept 1 - 3, 2022

We will be upgrading to a new data processing system.  We plan to be closed and our system will be offline Thursday, September 1 until Saturday, September 3 in order to change to our new system. 

Virtual Branch, including Bill Pay, the mobile app, and PopMoney will be unavailable beginning 4:00pm on Tuesday, August 30th.  We plan to restore VB, the app, and Bill Pay on Saturday, September 3rd.  PopMoney will not be restored and there will be no replacement for it.  If you pay bills using our online banking, please make other arrangements for your payments due from August 29th through September 3rd.

Please note:  We will not be able to process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loans, electronic transactions or any other type of transaction, including balance inquiries, while the system is offline.  Payroll deductions and loan payments may also be delayed but will be posted as close to on time as possible.

All members, including eStatement users, will receive a paper statement as of 8/31/22.  Estatements will resume with the 9/30/22 statements. ***Current eStatement users may want to print off their available archived statements prior to 8/30/22.  Previous month's eStatements will not be available once we bring Virtual Branch back online, and archiving will resume beginning with 9/30/22 statements. *** Statement copies are available from the credit union at a cost of $5.00 per statement copy.

2022 Holiday Schedule

We will be closed in observance of the following holidays in 2022.

   *Electronic transactions, including payroll deductions, direct deposit, ACH transactions and share drafts will continue to post normally on Friday, November 25.

9/23/2021: Flushing Hospital branch office now closed until further notice

Due to the recent fire in the building our branch office is in at Flushing Hospital, our office there will be closed until further notice.    We will open our office as soon as we can and will update this notice once we know when that will be.

Please consider using the many forms of electronic banking we offer: Virtual Branch online banking, our checking account with optional Visa debit card, our mobile app, bill pay, PopMoney, and eSign.  With our debit card, you can access the funds in your checking account surcharge-free at Co-Op Network ATM machines.  Note: Many of these services work only with our checking account, so if you don't have it yet and would like to open one and order a debit card, we can help you remotely.

New PIN selection process and phone number

Great news!  We now have a new telephone number for debit card holders to use to be able to change their PIN.  Members can use 1-800-992-3808 to call Card Self Service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

New card holders will use this number to both activate their new card and select a PIN.

Existing card holders will use this number to change their PIN number. 

We will no longer be sending PIN mailers or using reference numbers to change the PIN.

 

Visa Purchase Alerts

Medisys EFCU Visa Debit Card holders can now enroll their card in Visa Purchase Alerts in order to closely monitor their transaction activity.  When you sign up to receive Purchase Alerts, you will set up parameters and then receive an email and/or a text message when a qualifying transaction takes place. Purchase Alerts help you keep better track of your money and identify fraudulent transactions more quickly.  Triggers can include: dollar amount, international transactions, or card-absent transactions.  Sign up at Visa.com/PurchaseAlerts and start receiving alerts today!
